MMA Cage - 5m Fold Away

The SMAI Folding MMA Cage – 5m is SMAI’s latest innovation: a space‑saving, premium MMA cage designed for maximum flexibility. This innovative design allows the cage to transform from a full‑size 5m MMA Octagon into a clever fold‑away system that can be stored flat against a wall, using a minimal footprint.

To assist with movement and folding, a unique levered wheel system has been engineered to make moving, rotating, and folding the cage simple and effortless. To move the cage, activate the wheel lever on each post to raise it off the floor, then easily reposition, rotate, or fold the cage away for storage.

The folding functionality makes this MMA cage an ideal solution for events and gyms where a permanent cage is not practical, or where a flexible training space is required and the cage needs to roll out of the way when not in use.

The cage includes a self‑supporting frame that is fully padded for safety using composite sponge foam with an easy‑to‑clean vinyl covering. The included floor is also finished in durable, easy‑to‑clean vinyl.

Cage panels feature full perimeter padding, while strengthened PVC‑coated mesh with nylon reinforcement helps extend mesh life and durability.

Despite the space-saving innovations, setup and assembly is quick and easy with all the included hardware needed to build the cage.

• Roll out 3cm XPE flooring mats to fit the internal cage space.
• Mesh: Our latest innovation... strengthened mesh attached to the cage panels with additional PVC and Nylon reinforcement to extend the life of the product without allowing it to sag or bow under continual use. (After 2-3 years we recommend you re-tension the mesh. This should be completed by a fencer or handy man)
