Tai Chi - Jian Stainless Rosewood

The Jian is a double-edged Chinese sword, used traditionally in Tai Chi for defence training. The SMAI Stainless Rosewood Jian has a flexible Spring Steel blade, with Rosewood fittings and Phoenix decal. It also includes tassels and gold fittings.

In general, swords such as a sabre, cutlass, samurai sword, katana, etc fall outside the scope of the Weapons Prohibition Act 1998 and you do not need a licence or permit to own one and there are no specific safe storage requirements.
