The blade is made from lightweight aluminium with a bo-hi (fuller) to enhance balance and produce a satisfying tachi kaze sound during swings. The full tang construction ensures structural integrity, while the deep red handle wrap over synthetic rayskin provides a traditional look with a modern edge. A textured black wooden saya completes the aesthetic, featuring red cord wrap accents to match the tsuka.
